I have heard that this is Denvers best kept secret and it is! I sat on the patio which is totally nestled back in Writer Square and had a chicken pasta with a parmesean cream sauce. It was to die for! I had 3 guests with me who also asked for server recommendations and loved what they got. We finished with a cannoli and it was the best I had ever had. We have eaten at Cafe Colore before theater dates on a number of ocassions and always enjoyed the salads and entrees. The biggest challenge is getting past the idiots at the front door - there has been a constant rotation of fools and each new person manning the door is less accomodating than the last one. Downtown restaurant with reasonable prices! Try the cheese ravioli with roasted red pepper sauce or the Italian wedding soup. They also have good salads.
