The elegant dining room filled with jazzy music and colorful French posters gets loud and rather chaotic by early evening, when a crush of well-dressed locals vie for tables. Attentive servers are adept at easing the frustration of a long wait in the bar. Chef Neil Rogers features an eccentric take on French cooking, mixing rich sauces with minimalist, artsy presentation. Quality hasn't waned at this ...

This is probably one of the hardest reservations to get in the San Fernando Valley. The reason is because Cafe Bizou offers all that is fine dining without the starch and circumstance. The California-French menu varies from lobster raviolis to rich earthy veal medallions at the most reasonable prices you could hope to find. A professional and friendly staff serves you in a well and naturally lit dining ...

Housed in an old bungalow that complements its casual brand of elegance, Café Bizou is the place for fine California-French bistro fare at bargain prices. Sauces are classic, soups are rich (try the luscious lobster bisque), and combinations are creative. If it's on the menu, order the homemade ravioli appetizer, stuffed with lobster and salmon puree. It is one of the cafes that we all enjoy and we love the atmosphere. The prices are reasonable and not near as spendy as some of the other cafes on the blvd.
This restaurant is fantastic! I ordered the lobster tails with mushroom risoto which was nothing short of spectacular. Not only that, but the prices were very reasonable. It's an amazing deal. We happened to arrive during a blackout which affected several blocks on Ventura Boulevard, and our friend informed us that normally it is extremely crowded, but our experience was...
