So I went here with a family friend and the employees were very welcoming and the food was great. I loved the dessert and I told all my friends back at work to go visit this restaurant.

I have mixed reviews about this restaurant. Food-Great, Serice-the worst!, Ambiance- Great, cleanness- not so much. I would return though seat my date outside.

I was skeptical about trying out Cafe Trestevere after reading a few of the prior comments, but heard about it through a friend who reccomended the place. I am glad my husband and I went to see it for our selves. The food was great, the atmosphere was indeed romantic, and I would certainly recommend this restaurant to a friend.
