During the recent cold snap (dec 2008) we had two in wall heaters (Cadet brand) that failed... one of which was spewing sparks.... with 2 simular unit failures.. we checked & found that these had been recalled do to this issue... we contacted Cadet manufacturing and learned that the heaters in our home were all recalled- some of the worst they had distributed & it was recommended to stop using...
