Twice now I have brought my car in to C Van R and presented them with a perfect opportunity to take advantage of me. And twice now, they have done the RIGHT THING.

The first involved what I thought was a bad alternator: They could have replaced it and charged me an exorbitant amount. How would I have known?

I took my car in to C-Van-R fearing that I needed a new alternator, when my brand new battery stopped charging. They took a look at it and called to say that a belt had simply slipped off my old alternator and that they had simply replaced it and charged the battery for me. C van R has been our auto repair facility for at least 18 years. They always take a practical approach, do good work, and are reliable. Their convenience is certainly a factor, but we have come to rely on their honesty and integrity. Even when we have cars that are still under manufacturer warranty we often 'check it out with Charlie' at C van R before getting work done at the dealership.
