Pleasant but somewhat bare, the restaurant's dining room has sunny walls, terra-cotta photomurals, an open kitchen, stonework and numerous water pipes on display. Roomy booths...
The place was not pretensiouc but the food was very good. I went for brunch, which I particularly loved there, and it does not exist anymore...
Be careful of accepting any special anything here. I and my girlfriend went and were offered $2 wine, only to find that each glass was $10 on our bill. When we argued the bill, we were told that 2 glasses were required at $10 each. Nearly every waiter barely spoke English. The food is good, but this place lacks the most essential element of all.. honesty.. and the core staple of any restaurant.. service.
Pros
+ The food is authentic
Cons
- Dishonest and terrible service.. The waiter will literally sit down to a meal while serving you..
We love trying new cuisines, and a buffet is a great way to experience unfamiliar items. Their buffet is very limited, though, and often not warm enough. Interesting food with many tastes. They have a good buffet with samples of many things. Try and eggplant dish. Good desserts.
I am originally from Dearborn, Michigan and had my choice of excellent Arabic restaurants since Dearborn has the second highest population of Arabs in the US (Toledo Oh, has the highest). After relocating to Georgia I have been on a hunt for really good Middle Eastern cuisine. Byblos was definitely NOT it!! The restaurant decor was lovely and the service was excellent but the food was HORRIBLE and expensive!! My husband ordered the Lamb Kabob, and I ordered the Chicken Shawarma we also got an order of Hummous. His Lamb Kabob was just ok in flavor, but it was a small porion ( I think it...
Byblos can be found at Alpharetta Hwy 10684. The following is offered: Middle Eastern. The entry is present with us since Sep 8, 2010 and was last updated on Nov 12, 2013. In Roswell there are 2 other Middle Eastern. An overview can be found here.
Don't miss the daily bargain lunch buffet ($7.95) or the bounteous $12.95 Thursday night buffet with complimentary wine.
After dinner, try the arguileh, or water pipe, with apple-scented tobacco.
