Nice remodel. But no place to hang clothes

Room was ok but food was left in room which made us wonder how well the room was cleaned. Also noise from street could be heard.

Old roadside budget motel changes name to The Asheville Inn, but it isn't an Inn in the least. If you like 30 year old furnishings, a bar of soap and broken furniture on the sidewalk outside the room...this is your place. Never again. The TV was new and had plenty of channels, and to think I paid $149 a night.

This hotel was the cheapest in the area for a last minute stop - but in this case, paying more might be worth it. Older building, the room was reasonably clean but absolutely REEKED of smoke. Nasty, nasty odor. No wifi. Would not return if other options available.

There was a stale smoke smell to the room. The sound on the tv was shot. There were cigarette stains on the comforter and on the tub. The staff was friendly enough. I wouldn't return.
