Buckingham Fountain is located in Grant Park. It is one of the largest fountains in the world and puts on a spectacular water show for 20 minutes every hour during the day time if the weather permits. The main jet sprays water over 150 ft (46 m) in the air. The fountain was donated to the city of Chicago in 1927 by Kate Buckingham in honor of her brother Clarence.
Since 1927, the Buckingham Fountain in Chicago, Illinois, has been a spectacle to see in Chicagoâ??s Grant Park.
