I got a nice big oyster loaf dressed. The oysters were fried nicely, but I got a lot of flavor from the oil they fried them in. I don't know if they change the oil often enough and clean out the fryer, or maybe the temperature is too...

it's got history and atmosphere but the food, even the oysters, did not impress. gumbo was good though.
