I was in this store to look around. I saw a cool clock that I wanted to send a picture of to my girlfriend who was miles away. I was told that "taking pictures of the merchandise was not allowed"...

In ShortUnique, high-end consumer products are functional in purpose and fabulously designed. Entering the market in 1965 as a vendor for "hard-to-find tools," the chain now carries a wide variety of products for home, office, travel, auto, health and fitness needs. An interactive environment encourages shoppers to try most of the products (think reclining massage chairs and wine bottle openers). Offerings range from high-tech gadgetry like slim CD players and air purifiers, to low-tech items like mattress pads and outdoor furniture covers.
