For a great time and meal, go to Brooks 1890 Restaurant. This turn of the last century establishment features a mahogany bar and parquet floors and ceiling. They serve American cuisine with an emphasis on steaks and seafood. Proprietor-owner Bill Brooks, known as The Judge, is an aficionado of Sinatra, not just his music, but his happy go lucky attitude. Atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable.

We stumbled in for a late lunch on a warm and sunny January day, and were overwhelmed with everything! Cesar salad with house made dressing was a classic and the Italian Wedding Soup the best we've ever had. Veal picatta was just right with a tangy sauce (added a little extra lemon), and the ricotta ravioli were scrumptious and rich.
