Remarkable Gardens, open to the public

The neighbor of Fulton Florist Brooklyn 11216, attracts thousands, daily. Hundreds of acres of attractions. Come on over.

A wonderful botanical garden. A variety of climate regions: desert, tropical...a nice orchid garden, fruit and vegetables, lili ponds, Japanese garden and pond, cherry blossom festival.
You can tour the whole garden by foot.
Good restaurant/cafe.

My only complaint is that i went during a time that there wasn't much blooming. The things inside were nice but outside was a little desolate. Go during the warmer weather.

Get free admission before noon on Saturdays. Tuesdays are free year-round, and weekdays are free from late-November through February.

When to Go

The best blooms are in late April to midsummer. Native flora gardens are closed from November to April.
