We enjoyed our two night stay at this hotel in Torrey. Most other hotels were booked and after a long trip from Springdale, (Zion and Bryce), we were pleasantly pleased by this hotel. Rooms have microwave and frig. They have an onsite restaurant, indoor pool and jacuzzi. After an all day excursion at Capitol Reef (hiking, etc.) it was nice to sit in the indoor jacuzzi and do a couple of laps in...

Because there is not much to do in Torrey, UT after we were tired of hiking, it was essential that we have a nice hotel room where we could relax and the Sandstone Inn fit the bill. It would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room where we could store snacks, rather than a minibar. The staff was very courteous.

Very nice stay at this stop on our trek through the parks of Utah. Nice indoor pool. The staff were very nice, the room clean and quiet. The on site restaurant was very good with a nice salad bar. I have no complaints and would stay here again.

Was met with a room downgrade. Honeymoon sweet reserved well in advance....than not available to us. Discounted room was OK, but why not a phone call to work out the "problem". Room 16....avoid if there is wind blowing. Oh, that's right, the wind blows very often. It blows so hard that it blew the siding off the gable end of the motel. Wonderful setting from the second floor, mountains in the distance, great pool with great view if daylight time. Nice restaurant onsite with additional quick-food nearby. Location very close to Capitol Reef and super price found on-line.

The Hotel is located at the junction of HWY 12 and 24 up on the mesa away from the main highway which provides a more quiet and relaxing stay. It has the best views of town of the beautiful red rocks of Torrey, Utah. The hotel has a lot of remodeling; putting in new hardwood floors, new headboards, new carpet and all new furniture, the on-site steakhouse has a great menu to enjoy your palate....
