Have had the Friday Fish Fry several times. Better than average in a fun environment. The service was good and our food was brought to our table quickly despite a large group table placing their order at the same time. Will be returning.

We arrived an hour before the kitchen closed last Friday and had THE best walleye ever. Look past the rustic surrondings and loud but friendly 20 somethings and you will agree the food is awesome. Fresh marble rye bread spread with real Wisconsin butter, homemade coleslaw and fries. Craft beer from Mi was the perfect pairing.

The fish has a crisp savory batter that reminds me of the way KFC original recipe used to taste when I was a kid. It’s straight up addictive. Even thinking about it warm my tummy and makes me smile like the cheesier cat. The service is spot on, cordial, witty, and attentive. The atmosphere is straight up North Woods Tavern....

Great Friday (and Wednesday) Fish Fry

We really like this place as a regular fish fry spot. The service is always great, the prices reasonable, the food served hot and the fish comes with a light batter, not choked with thick batter as is typical at other establishments. When you have 3 or more people at the table, you can have the dinner served "family style"...

This truly was the BEST FRIED FISH EVER! However, the service was slow and the building is rundown and falling apart at the seams. It's a bar atmosphere and I was uncomfortable there with my children.
