My family loves Brewbachers and if the food wasn't a bit overpriced we would eat there more often. The restaurant is a local chain and offers traditional Louisiana/American food served in very large portions. The experience is casual and the food is consistently satisfying and delicious. The wait staff and kitchen are filled with fun personalities, the food comes out...

Really nice since the renovation

I have been going to Brewbacher's for years. The Government Street location was slowly going downhill so we stopped going to that location. Decided to give it a shot after the recent renovation. It is so nice and the staff is very friendly and kind. The food is back to how it use to be--Great!! The fried pickles are tasty....

This Brewbacher location appears to be outdated with a parking lot typical of restaurants on Government St---small. When it is busy, it is rather crowded when you enter. You order up front then...

Okay food, way too expensive. Some is quite tasty but it's really hit or miss.
And who ever heard of a Muffaletta salad without OLIVES?!
