Brunch is brunch, except when it isn't. Oatmeal comes brûléed, sausage comes with rice and green papaya-sesame salad. Feeling savory? Pork comes with tempura and butternut squash soup with shrimp rolls. With this menu, the brunch spot can't help but be a classic. Chef was classically trained and working at the Ritz, but homestyle morning cooking seemed more his speed. He was right.
