Becker Animal Hospital & Pet Resort

I am looking for a vet for my dog. After reading all the reviews I am so afraid to take my dog to any animal hospital.

I took my dog Harley into Becker animal hospital 9/3/13 because she was panting very rapidly but had been fine just a few hours earlier. Harley was a very playful and happy dog, never any signs of anything being wrong before this day. When we took her to Dr. Beckers office they rushed her to the back said we couldn't go back. When they gave us the estimate I was around $30 short asked if I could run to the atm...mind you they already had over $500 of it at this point. OH MY GOD! do not take your pets to Becker Hosp. Please if you love your pets don't do it. I had a horrible experience with my 11 yr old Yorkie.
I took in because he was looking so sick hardly breathing. They kept him over night when I picked him up they gave me meds and sent us home. My little dog died on the way home not even 10 min after we left Becker Hospital. I should have taken him to a reputable place he may still been saved. $1000.00 later. Disgusting practice

I dropped my puppy off on Monday morning at 9am to be spayed, called at 3pm to see how she was doing to be told she was 5th on he list for surgery but that they were doing surgeries in a little while and someone would call me. Didn't hear from anyone. Called there at 9am Tuesday morning only to be told she was 3rd on the list! You mean to tell me they only did 2 surgeries in 18hrs!!! Really! Mind you she hadn't eaten since 5pm Sunday because she was supposed to have the spay Monday and I couldn't feed her after midnight, so now it's two days later and she still hasn't eaten!
