Forget you're in Indy at a well-worn juke joint doesn't need to dress itself up to impress. Enjoy spirits, NOLA-style vittles and live music inside or on the double-decker wrap-around porch. Have a good time but please don't throw any beads off the balcony.

I can't speak for the food but something about that balcony gets me itchin' for a drink on a warm spring day every January and then I have to wait a couple of months until the weather catches up with my mindset. Everyone should go there and sit on the balcony in the warmth of the sun atleast once a year (weather permitting) to enjoy a good cocktail. quincy at 11:38 PM on 04/29/08
