Boston College is a coeducational, Liberal Arts Jesuit university with an undergraduate student population of 9,000. The campus, build in 1913, features the finest examples of Collegiate Gothic architecture in the United States and is quite visually stunning. The university's flagship building, Gasson Hall, towers above "the Heights" (the local term for the campus) and its bells can be heard... more

Being one of the oldest Jesuit, Catholic universities in the U.S., it is rich in history and culture. Your well mannered pet is welcome to explore this beautiful campus too, with its trees, wide sweeping lawns, historic buildings (from the outside only), and even the occasional special events with their owners. Dogs must be under owner's control at all times, leashed, and cleaned up after.

The Scene Boston Center for Adult Education's Arlington Street location puts a premium on functionality; architectural aesthetics take a backseat. Known as Studio 122, it's a bland, two-story brick structure built in the 1970s for a film distribution company, renovated by BCAE in 1983. It's a sturdy, straightforward, fluorescent-lit sort of place. Most rooms are set up as studios... more

This is a good college. I took some courses here and got enough education to land a very good job. When you live outside of Mass, having Boston College on your records looks really good, even if you don't have a degree! But it's a good school, the staff is knowledgeable and they provide a wide variety of courses.

Consistenly ranked one of the top 25 schools in the Country, BC has lots to offer. High academic standards, competitive athletic teams, and close proximity to Boston make it an ideal choice for a college. Campus buildings are beautiful, many in the gothic style.

PROS: Great sports great academics
CONS: Very expensive

First of all, the listing is wrong, this is a university, not a k-12 school. You can probably tell by the name, Boston College.

I am a junior at BC and I love it. Here's something to think about. How many schools can you think of that have top tier academics, top tier athletics, have easy access to a great city while still keeping up a beautiful campus? Not many...

PS the food is really good.
