Mexican food with a twist

09/10 Warm taco chips and 3 excellent dips were served. Ann’s entrée was a chile relleno (a roasted poblano pepper, manchego cheese, panela, cotija cheese), tomatillo salsa, Spanish rice and refried black beans. I settled on Yucatan Pork - achiote pork roasted in a banana leaf, grilled pickled onion, guacamole, fried plantains, refried black beans, Spanish rice and 3 handmade corn tortillas. We have enjoyed both of these entrees in the past and were not disappointed this evening. I had a few extra dollars left to use on our gift certificate so we ordered half slices of flan and a tres...

After reading such great reviews of this restaurant, we were somewhat disappointed in our first trip to Border Grill. The chips and salsa were lacking originality and tasted much more like tomato paste than salsa. The poblano chicken enchiladas were great and are highly recommended. Don't waste your time with the chile rellenos. They arrived a tthe table lukewarm and became soggy in the...

I'm in and out of Vegas a lot for business... and loved my lunch at Border Grill. The weather was stunning so out door seating was a plus and on a tight schedule so the timing was perfect!! The gaucamole was fantastic as well as the shrimp and chirzo chili relleno special. Its a must visit! I will be back.

They were actually jam packed full of shredded beef and fried perfectly where they were crispy not too hard. They had this yummy...

We were in Mandaly around lunch time so we decided to try the Border Grill. We were seated promptly and the waiter took our order promptly. The guacamole was so-so while the salsa provided was below average - not spicy and with very little flavor. We both had the bolillo steak sandwiches: they were both good. The service was decent but water refills were a little slow.
As far as mexican...
