Dr Carl Gilbert cares for his patience honestly after going over the reasons why I had to have surgery I had one question. He is very thorough and ask questions to make sure he is doing right by his patience. For outpatient surgery he made sure I did not leave the hospital without having my pain managed. I love him you are in good hands with Dr Gilbert.
I was in the prep area for a surgery to remove my appendix and was in severe pain. Once she was notified she essentially dropped what she was doing and came to me to assist. I was very impressed with her.
I am happy that other patients have had good experiences with Dr. Gilbert, however I am not one of them. I was admitted to the hospital with a significant wound on my left foot that had become septic. It took 3 different Nurses multiple calls over the period of 2 days to 'force' Dr. Gilbert to assess my wound. When he finally arrived, his bedside manner was gruff at best . I walked out of...
