The off-street parking is relatively small & even with the hostel not being booked up, don't count on being able to park in there! This was my first hostel experience and, thanks to the wonderful staff at Bon Paul & Sharky's, it will NOT be the last! We camped in the back and, even then, the experience was extraordinary. The bathrooms were kept very clean, the staff provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the place is just so cute. The one mile strip of West Asheville that runs in front of the hostel...

If you're a party person it's good, if not and you just want to get some sleep you might find the people annoying. Some of the staff are a bit absent-minded or aloof; you might have to ask for a towel more than once. They might snub you if you're not a trendy yuppie and you try to smile at...
