We are an established East Indian dinner house with delicious Lamb Shahi, Prawns Coco, and Chicken Tikka Masala! We feature a section with Middle Eastern entrees that are very complimentary to the Indian cuisine- fresh naan with hummus and baba- time and again we've been told "the best in Portland!"
Indian food that will make you come back many times. We offer Indian, vegetarian, & Middle Eastern cuisine dinner’s. Contact us today about our Mango Drinks as they are amazing.
Is Bombay Cricket Club a restaurant or sports bar? Despite the huge flat-screen TV broadcasting cricket matches visible from both floors, the care and attention given to the Indian dishes served here puts it clearly in the restaurant category. Begin with a vividly-hued mango margarita, and then progress to the naan, almost a meal in itself, and best stuffed with potato and cheese. All curries...
This long-running Buckman "favorite" offers midpriced Indian cuisine in "a wide variety of spice levels", all ferried by an "attentive" staff; it's also known for its mango margaritas and televised cricket matches, but take note - the space is small and "you almost always need a reservation to get in."
In Short
Upscale boomers, east-side bohemians and starry eyed lovers fill the cheerful peach dining room, cozy upstairs loft and tiny bar. More for the sake of culture than sport, quiet...
This was sadly the last night for Bombay Cricket Club. The owners are retiring. My partner and I were fortunate enough to have been diners at BCC for the past 16 years. We heard the news of Karim and Sherri's retirment and have to come by one last time. We also brought another couple with us that had also joined us at BCC last year to celebrate my partner's birthday. We will miss BCC. The...
Wonderful place visited many times over the past 12 years will be greatly missed. The curry chicken livers and the lamb shank were favorites. Much happiness to the owners on there retirement.
I won't miss this restaurant. They don't give you enough bang for your buck. I disagree that the naan is amazing. Ours wasn't. I ordered medium plus heat but they just added more spice which ended up making it bitter. They give you a plate of rice to share about the size you would get per serving at most other...
Excellent meal - distinctive Indian flavor. Wonderful hosts!
There are a few good Indian restaurants in Portland , and I think my favorite Chicken Tikka Masala is at the Bombay Cticket Club. The Zathar Naan is outstanding!
This restaurant is permanently closed. Bombay Cricket Club is located in Portland, Oregon and offers an extensive menu loaded with Indian and Middle Eastern entres. This restaurant is open on all days except for Monday with a focus on a dinner setting. Bombay Cricket Club has both traditional dishes as well as unique dishes created by the esteemed chef. The lamb shahi is one of those...
The people who crowd this street long for eclectic flavors, and the stores that call Hawthorne District home fulfill those desires. The ever-popular fusion theme is adeptly expressed at this exotic restaurant. Choose from Indian and Middle Eastern menus while you enjoy cricket matches on the bar's television. Saucy and spicy, both menus provide true entertainment for your taste buds. The...
