Bollywood Caf?, a fine Indian Restaurant in Studio City, a dream name after India?s huge film industry. Surely we are neither Bollywood nor Hollywood phoniness about our Curries heat promises. It is a casual dining Indian restaurant with full collection of Indian beer and wines. Taj Mahal is just one of the best beers that will fill your thirst, of course an ice-cool one.

he Bollywood Cafe is the premiere Indian Restaurant in the San Fernando Valley. While many Indian restuaurants feature their selection of curry dishes, the Bollywood Cafe is unique, according to a review in Five Star Reviews, " in that it gives equal relevance to the Tandoori and Biryani Rice dishes, both accentuating a dry spice that isn't as sweet as their Yellow Coconut Curry dish."">

Only 3 small tables of patrons including mine and a 3 person wait staff plus a bartender who did nothing but talk to each other around the bar and ignored all the tables. FINALLY food came with some prodding to check on it (and stop chatting with each other) the taste was bland and disappointing. Not worth it. So many more tasty Indian places... more

Parking can be hard as the place is located right on Ventura Boulevard. The restaurant is small, so you better make sure to make a reservation. The staff was friendly and serviced as promptly. The food was good, but the Naan bread was oily and seemed to have been done with spoiled oil - not good. The price was rather high when compared to other nearby Indian restaurants.

I am always very picky about indian food, since I have heard horror stories. This is the one place I have returned to again and again, and every time I have gone I have been very pleased with the food. I've had vegetarian dishes and meat dishes. The appetizers are good but my favorite is the Chicken tikka masala. Best I've ever had by far. If you go in enough the waiters start to recognize... more
