The service can be a little inconsistent, but it's never terrible. The food is always good! We come thru from AL to TX and always make it a point to stop for the crawfish etouffe! Roll Tide!

there were 8 of us so in reality we didn't have expectations of really superior service but it was extremely slow and the food was not that great. one person ordered a steal medium rare and it was well done. boudin balls were very disappointing ,,another ordered double meat hamburger with bacon, after everyone got there order and were half...

Being a Yankee (I guess) I noticed the folks working and eating find me suspicious and probably from the Federal Internal Revenue Service. The Boiling Point is a simple but charming roadside restaurant under the smoke of the Louisiana refineries, serving fine Cajun food, notably very fresh Crawfish prepared in many ways. Perfect for a stop between Houston and Lafayette, for instance. Clearly visited by many locals as well as tourists. Sufficient parking is available. Very friendly service.

The food was amazing but because of the TERRIBLE service we won't be back. Waitress was eating and didn't wash her hands and I had to go all for my drink to be refilled not satisfied with the service at all!!
