Wasn't too impressed. I went rather late so perhaps I was getting the day's leftovers. Wasn't particularly tasty and texturally it wasn't nice at all. I know Americans do donuts really well and this place has apparently been around for a long time, so was rather surprised at the sub standard donut I got. I'll just put this down to either a bad batch or just too late in the day.

It's not one of the more fancier donut joints, but theirs are still great, possibly even better. Best to get them freshly made. The buttermilk with chocolate frosting is my new fave. It has a slight crunch with a fluffy inside. Amazing!

Little store with lots of donut choices! If you like desserts, this place can be a saver in San Francisco. They always serve fresh donuts, but you should be lucky to find whatever you want. Lemon bar is my fav, cake donut is also good, all of them are over average, so you can be relax when you choose.

One of the best apple fritters I've ever had! It was fluffy and had a great cinnamon flavor. The cake donuts were also very moist, yet the frosting added a nice crunch to the outside. I like that this place is open twenty four hours a day. It makes these delicious donuts accessible for all!!!

Bob's Donuts and Pastry Shop is a popular stop for people leaving the bars, since Bob's is open 24 hours a day! The donuts and pastries in this hole in the wall are made from scratch. They are light, never greasy, and while they will never be confused with health food, they are undeniably a comfort food par excellence. They are also always fresh, as you can see by watching staff fry 'em up...
