Older vans poorly maintained with half-hearted guides should be expected. Hotel pickup and drop off is free. But expect long delays on the road and waiting for the bus at attractions. I highly recommend you consider any other means to visit the attractions. Avoid the use of Blues City Tour service if at all possible.
