that place is a slaughter

Yes, a I thought the same things of Dr. Beisnner. But today I had the most traumatizing experience in his clinic. He just was another man, maybe it wasn’t his day, but that wasn’t my fault or my pet’s.
I had to take my beloved best friend and faithful companion to sleep, and was the most traumatic experience that she and I had. To start, he wanted me to get out of the room and leave him do the work with my cat. Of course not! I was there to be with her in her last moments. And he wanted me to leave. Then he began to give her the sedative in the cruelest way, with him and his assistant holding her like if she was a lion, my cat was very upset meowing horrible. I had to turn on my back, cover my ears and not see it. Then he told me that's why I should leave, I asked him if there is a better, not so hard way to give her the sedative. He said that would be with gas, but that he had to take her inside and that would take 20 mins. I told him no problem, he took her inside and in less than 5 minutes came back with my girl relaxed and calmed. Then he says is already relaxed, and then right away he grabbed the last shot to give it to her, she was still conscious, was moving her eyes and blinking, but quiet and defenseless. I asked him if he wasn’t going to give her more time for the sedative to work, make her sleepier, he said no she’s already relaxed. I told him: “well can you give me a few minutes with her before giving her the shot?” What I wanted was to give more time to the sedative to work, to see her sleepier, and of course talk to her before she would be dead. He just looked at me like saying, “this woman asks too much” and with a despotic attitude and like in a hurry, he said: Ok. So he went inside and in less than 2 minutes comes back and says, ready? I just hated him. I would never go back to that place. I told him ok. After he gave her the shot I asked him if we could stay with her for a few minutes to say bye. Of course with his attitude said ok. They went inside and in less than 2-3 mins the assistant comes asking if that was enough.
I know when they took her inside to give her the gas, they didn’t do it, they gave her that traumatizing sedative injection, that made her very upset, they lied and didn’t put the gas, because he himself told me the gas will take like 20 minutes, and he returned in less than 5 minutes.
Furthermore, his attitude was all the time cold, despot, insensitive, inhuman, and in such a hurry, as if they don’t understand the pain of the people who are losing a pet who was considered a very meaningful part of the family. Yes, it was lunch time and I think that's why he was in such a hurry, but why he doesn’t schedule these things for a better time?, if he knows for these things the family needs to take their time to say goodbye to their beloved pet .
I feel so bad that my baby had to die in such a traumatizing way, I felt guilty because now I thought that I should have looked in different vets and ask about how do they do that process, to me is important to find good human and sensitive doctors who are able to put themselves in the other’s shoes.
Dr. Beissner, you are an inhuman butcher, and I will never stop by your butcher.
