BLT stands not for the delicious sandwich, but for Bistro Laurent Tourondela growing network of protein-obsessed brasseries from New York-based celebrity chef Tourondel. As the rest of the name suggests, its a steakhouse done with French elaborations. Theres a raw bar, full charcuterie and cheese offerings, and a signature cut of sirloin for a whopping $82. But for all the high-falutin,...

Editorial Reviews from the web
In Short Ghosts of Frank Sinatra, Gregory Peck and Julia Phillips may still be lingering over the legendary old Le Dome space, but they're making room for the modern Hollywood elite who now fill their reupholstered VIP booths. The name stands for Bistro Laurent Tourondel, not the sandwich, and it's a sister spot of the chef's acclaimed New York flagship. A crush of young Armani-clad...

After twenty-six years as the legendary Le Dôme, this Sunset Boulevard address has given way to Laurent Tourondel’s expansion to the West, in the form of a stylish steakhouse. Gone are the famous circular bar and the small dining rooms. The now large, singular space is divided by a long center banquette, with a smaller terrace and the bar facing the entrance. The décor is straightforward, with...

I had dinner at BLT last night and it was a fantastic experience! I'm still gorged and very happy. I started off with a vodka cocktail while waiting at the bar for the table (vanilla vodka / lavendar soda) which was different and delicious. The bartender was very nice and made it for me without sugar. Since it was a party of eight, we ordered a variety of appetizers, sides and entrees. I...

The place is nice, food is good but service needs help! I was there with three of my friends for dinner. We all loved the food but felt uncomfortable sitting there long because some of the employees kept staring at us - including the gentleman wearing a suit (maybe the manager?! Not sure) that marched in front of our table every couple of minutes smiling at us. Not sure I will be back!

Went there recently and I thought it was amazing. It was pricey however you do get lots of little goodies from the chef along the way - chicken liver pate(superb), popovers (cheesy yorkshire puddings), and the most amazing molten chocolate cookie/brownie things PLUS you get a goody bag of cakes to take home with you! I had the 8oz filet which was cooked to perfection and the veg sides, although...
