Billy Martin's Tavern is probably better the average tavern. We found the staff to be polite and friendly. The cost of the beers we had was a little higher than normal but I guess that goes with the name. I'm glad we stopped in but I sure wouldn't put it on a must see for Washington DC list.
With a dark and smoky setting, Billy Martins Tavern has decent food, acceptable prices, and fairly slow service. The best feature of Billy Martins Tavern are the antique booths.
Went here with a party of 5. No one really enjoyed their meal very much. It just filled the stomach. The atmosphere is classic, old school Georgetown and the staff is very nice and it's in a great location, but the food is mediocre.
