This old country eating! As a big city guy, I wasn't sure what to expect in a wood facade, old looking building. I was nicely surprised. The steaks were juicy and cooked just as ordered. It is basically served after you order at a counter and you served yourself at A limited salad bar. Try it, you'll like it!

I recently arranged a fund raising event with the new owners, Right of the bat, they were a real pleasure to deal with..all bases were covered, even our frozen chickens for our chook raffles. were on diplay on ice......a good time had by all...great event.

We went in for dinner based on word of mouth from some locals. I was ready for a great steak but what I got was a bland steak, not cooked to order, with more fat on it than anything else. The service here is virtually non-existent as you order from a little window in the back and eventually the food...

Bill's in Wheatland has the best steak sandwich in the Sacramento Valley. If you want great service at 5 tiimes the price, go to Morton's. If you want to eat a great garlic steak sandwich with some nice folks, Bill's is the place. Chef Lisa will grill your steak at your request on the inside grill.
