Please, please do NOT attend this studio (soon to be located on Alberta St.). There is a male teacher at this location who has been preying on women for years. The owners of the studio are well aware of this and refuse to act. This studio is NOT a safe place for the women of Oregon. I saw reviews on Google claiming this was a poor facility, the place stunk, and the staff was rude. I was in dire need of excercise so I tried it anyways because it's close to home. I am a yoga instructor. After 14 years of yoga and 4 years of practicing bikram yoga all over the country and internatinally, my experience with the fremont studio has been quite dissapointing. I was practicing in the front row one day and layed down during one of the poses. This is quite nornal for anyone, at any time to feel sick during class. No matter how long you've been practicing. The teacher said that I was ""messing up the energy of the class"". How strange? I am here for me, my body, my health and my breath. I know my limits and body enough to say when to take a brake. I've been practicing Bikram for only 10 years & I have to say that this studio had some of the best teachers. I was visiting my sister in-laws in Portland & as always I try to keep up with my Bikram practice whenever I'm away from home (CT). Have no idea how the owners eat, as the person commented below? However, while i was there, one of the instructors was discussing the benfits of Noni jucie & that he was consuming it for health benefits. This is an excellent studio. The teachers are skilled, available, and interested in really helping. The owners are wonderful. You'll never leave a class disappointed.
