This is the best Hometown restaurant in Louisville. I love it. The greens are the best I have ever had,and the ribbs..OMG the best. The waiters are so friendly and very professional. I recommend it to anyone.

We eat lunch at Big Hopps on a regular basis. The food has always been great (their menus are available on their web site at bighopps.com) and their prices are reasonable. But service is sometimes slow depending on how big a crowd they have at the time. We also stop there from time to time after work to get a beer and relax while the downtown traffic clears out. On a recent visit to Louisville, my friends and I had been asking for good BBQ recommendations, but kept turning up empty-handed. For our last lunch, we went here, in part, because we were at the Slugger museum and it was raining and this restaurant is right behind. The fried chicken, rib tips, sweet potato casserole, and greens were some of the best that I have ever had. Two dinners for $30....
