While you may think the Big Chill is nothing but a bar with excellent drinks, you cannot pass up their dinner menu. A different selection every night. It's been some of my favorite food in Chattanooga. The lobster grits are to die for!
I will be brief...the waitress was rude, we found a spider in one of our drinks and the manager on duty was completely rude about that too! They didn't even take it off of our bill. We also got food and it took forever and was cold. We will never go back again and I suggest you go to a better bar or restaurant downtown like Blue Water.

Its a bit cold in the big chill, and it's not the temperature but the staff. A long drink menu and several frozen cocktails on tap provide a noisey background to catch up on old times with friends or try to make new ones. The only entertainment patrons receive is via the pricey jukebox in the corner. With a bar tender moving guests to make room for personal favorites, the big chill leaves...
