he did operate on one of my fingers to take a small cartilage lump out , said the operation went well? after a couple of moths when I got the same problem back he said that he didn?t the whole thing out, this was not communicated to me before, during or even after the surgery.. his communications skills w his patients is non-existent! Worst Doctor, Horrible bedside manner, No personallity

This doctor had a horrible bedside manner, arrogant and not helpful at all once he go the money for the surgery. He told me that "pain is relative", I told him, " I bet It wouldn't be relative if he was felling the pain" needless to say I ended up with another MD. I met a woman a few months later a physical therapy (which Bickel refused to prescribe) who had a much worst interaction with him... more

Dr. Bickel is a phenomenal hand doctor in the Bay Area. I highly recommend him; he is patient, thoughtful, compassionate, and very skilled as a surgeon.
