Stayed overnight. Got in late & had a good night's sleep. There's remodeling in progress & some plaster dust on bathroom fixtures. The bed was comfortable, the room smelled clean, and the neighborhood is quiet. Very nice personnel. Desk, housekeepers & breakfast attendant were all friendly and accommodating. A great experience.
The staff member at the front desk checked us into a room that we later found out was not cleaned. The staff member knew this and had other rooms she could have checked us into but checked us into the unclean room anyway - probably because it was the next available in the system. (That would be my guess - I don't know this for sure. The hotel itself was not located in a particularly nice area....
