This hotel is in a very unsafe part of town. There were people lurking on the streetcorners and the stairwells. Abadoned buildings and vacant lots. Didnt even check in. For a female traveling alone this is the last place I would want to be.
There is nothing fancy to be found here. The building is old, but it is being maintained and the room was clean. No bugs (my biggest fear with any hotel). Checked in this hotel and used my points. Paid for the room 3,000 points plus $45. Checked in and ran my card. I came back down after check in to complain of a dead roach and stained sheets. A basic no frills hotel. There for just the one night. Comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, good location. 10 minutes walk to the bars and shops and also the sports arenas. More than happy with our stay and would book again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The location was good for downtown venues. The building is old and the landscaping definitely needs doing over. The price was too high. No coffee in rooms or in lobby aside from continental breakfast, that is a real negative for me. Roosters crowing at 5 am woke us up....
