Benton is a wonderful local restaurant that I know I will always get fresh. hot, delicious food with great service. I generally get sushi rolls or their Bentu Box for lunch or dinner. Always a great experience.

Although benten needs better service (staff is not very friendly), the food makes up for it. They start you off with a free appetizer and offer hot washcloths to clean your hands. The green tea they serve is very nutty, and the food is excellent. I enjoy their chicken katsu and steak teriyaki, but the sushi is also beautifully presented...

The fish is really fresh and the seasonings are just right! The wait staff is very attentive. The atmosphere is calming.

Benten is a beautifully decorated sushi/Japanese restaurant. Oversized kimonos line their walls as well as lovely traditional Japanese artwork and sculptures. The food is excellent. Exceptional value with a great dining experience. Step away from the hibatchi, Benten is old school Japanese. Fresh rolled sushi at their sushi bar, or sit at a table and get your dinner in a beautiful compartment box.
