Editorial reviews from the web (1)

This contemporary Kendall Square American wine bar aims to debunk the seriousness of wine drinking with a whimsical sense of humor and two- and five-oz. pours, which are offered alongside a midpriced small-plates menu of cheese, charcuterie, oysters and other bites; the subterranean dining room features mod-rustic digs with mirrored walls, graphic tiling and reclaimed wood; P.S. it doesn't take...

great hospitality

Was warmed by the hospitality and wowed by the by-the-glass offerings. Who knew rosé came in 20 different shades? Ordered all of the chalkboard specials "spare parts" and a few other dishes that hit it out of the park. Even got a kids pasta (bucatini with butter + parm) that my son loved. Cheers BELLY!

Good but small

The food was fantastic, but the portions were really small for the price. I would also like to see it have a little bit more character with music and art.

Short but good menu

There are less than 10 items on Belly's brunch menu, but they are all good. Interesting wine and drink selection, but the beer is canned or bottle only, nothing on tap. Didn't matter to our party, but others may wonder what's up with that.

Good place for brunch... I will recommend this place

Business description (2)

Belly Wine Bar is the third offering from the owners of Central Bottle + The Blue Room. Belly is the offspring of the first two: an Italian-inspired, 45-seat enoteca meets French charcuterie set in a 19th-century mill building that contrasts wood beams, plank ceilings, and salvaged chestnut/ steel girder tables with a sleek, eight-seat marble bar, Italian porcelain-tile floor, and bistro-style...

BELLY is a wine bar.
