The owner charged $100 for a refrigerator part (defrost timer) available over the internet for around $35. When I later brought this to his attention he said that he would send me a check for $30 as reimbursement. He never sent the check, despite several phone call reminders on my part. Nor did the replacement part fix the problem. I've since learned that he should have used a multi-tester to test whether or not the defrost timer needed replacement. He didn't. He also should have checked to see if the defrost heaters were working. He didn't. He also charged $78 for the service call, without first informing me of the charge. I would strongly advise against doing business with this person.
