Cheery little cafe serving lunch and dinner. HUGE microbrew list! Nice deck outside and pleasant atmosphere inside. Food was fresh and homemade. Standard steaks and meat options, we enjoyed the pasta special, homemeade soup and smoked trout. Desserts looked great but we were too full. Kid friendly and great staff!

Hands down a diamond in the rough. Don't expect elegance, but the up north/eclectic look fits the middle of now where/cool old town look. I was impressed with the dinner menu. Yes you can order a burger, but I HIGHLY recommend trying to Buffalo NY Strip if on the menu. One of the best things I ever put in my mouth. Outstanding restaurant in a town with only a few options for dinner. We visited in September 2010 after having a horrible experience across the street at the Prospector. We could not have been more satisfied with the menu and quality of food and service. The smaller tourist towns in MT are not cheap to eat in compared to where I live in NC, but the value was much better here at the Beartooth...
