Business Description from the Web
Crème de la crème of chain-store cream puffs: Beard Papa, a voluminous Japanese-based chain, opens at the Hollywood & Highland Center. When the first Beard Papa Sweets Café to hit New York opened on the Upper West Side, the line snaked around the block. Fortunately, Angelenos will no longer have to take the red-eye to JFK for their cream puff fix, because we got our very own Beard Papa a couple...

Lines snake around corners at every one of these shops, and you'd be lying to say you wouldn't wait in one of them for a fresh and fluffy pastry. The Beard Papa's Sweets Cafe in the Hollywood & Highland Center isn't the first to open; these cream puffs are known worldwide. Generally the shops are so busy that the cream is injected into the pastry just before you buy it. For extra decoration...

The worldwide pastry sensation opened its first West Coast branch in the always-hungry belly of the tourist-trap Hollywood and Highland complex. When Beard Papa opened in October 2005, a line wound through the corridors of the complex and out into the streets. Devotees had tasted those fresh, addicting cream puffs at one of Japans 200-plus outposts or the others scattered throughout the world....

Tips About This Business
The puffs are best suited for instant gratification. Because no preservatives are used, they don't keep well past 24 hours.
Beard Papa's originated in Japan, with some 250 cream puff stores in the country and other areas in Asia.
Located directly across the street from the Disney-owned El Capitan Theatre, this makes an excellent post-movie romp for kids and adults.

Already a hit in the Big Apple, customers watch while the sous chefs dispense made-to-order cream custard into puff shells topped with sprinkled sugar. Additional confections include a...

Other Reviews from the web
I absolutely love Beard Papas. The cream puffs are so fresh and good. They're a little pricey but it's worth it. There's usually only a couple of different kinds (chocolate, vanilla, and usually one or two special ones) but they're all amazing.
Beard Papa is one of my favorite sweet shops. They have huge, delicious creampuffs! This store is a bit on the small side, but it's not ever super crowded so you don't have to wait very long to be helped.
I've told many people that this place has the best cream puffs in all of Los Angeles. The only place that has better cream puffs is in Hawaii. I'd rather have a cream puff here than some overrated yogurt and one of those colored fruit named trendy places.
Pros
+ Cream Puffs
Cons
- Hollywood and Highland can be tough to get to at peak hours
