With regards to the other reviews posted, I primarily want to mention that as of now (November 2005) the Tap Room has 27 beers on tap. (There's also a great liquor selection, in case you're not in a beer drinking mood.) There's definitely something for everyone here. The Tap Room is far and away my favorite bar on Beale Street. I'm a local, just a couple of blocks away, and nothing beats The Tap Room's selection of beers, service, and atmosphere. Not a tourist trap, very comfortable. With almost 30 beers on tap it has something for everyone. The food (actually from King's Palace next door), is great, and the prices are reasonable. It was nice on Beale Street to be able to bop into a bar that didn't have a band - just a jukebox. The bartender was a man named Chuck who we had met the previous night at King's Palace. You could play pool and just hang out in relative quiet which was pleasant on our last night in town. The name "Tap Room" is a little misleading though - there were only 4 beers on tap and they were pretty...
