Uncomfortable and unpleasant shopping atmosphere

While they may have product that would otherwise need to be located online, or through driving a little further to other stores (or multiple stores), Bead island is not a pleasant place to shop.

The prices are often wrong, high, and out dated. The supply is disorganized, and the workers are not always knowledgeable. Finding what you want specifically can be a daunting task.

The Owner is dishonest, racist, sexist, and paranoid. She openly accuses shoppers of theft, even after they have spent Hundreds of dollars in the store. She discriminates against people because she thinks they "look like" they could be thieves simply by race, sexual preference, age, or attire. She unashamedly bashes men, Gays/Lesbians, and people of certain ethnic backgrounds.

She will talk about customers and her own employees behind their backs, and participates in verbal sexual harassment and racism.

If possible, i would suggest going the extra distance, or learning to order online, to avoid this shop.
