My son was struggling in many different ways. Dr. Salva followed through and we avoided an e.r. Visit due to Dr. Salva calling in an emergency prescription. He has followed through with referrals when other Dr.s did not.

He didn't pull any punches telling me my mothers diagnosis and risk of doing or not doing surgery. I left the hospital knowing I had all the facts needed in making our decision.

Five stars excellent ! Very caring and professional . We go to our doctors office when we get sick NOT the ER. Then, we are scheduled for tests or surgeries, Etc. they are fantastic in day stay surgery and cardiac floor, I think it's 5th floor. Fantastic.

My husband was in the ER a week ago and was told to follow up the next day with his primary care Dr at Mary Lane. We've called every single day since and are still unable to get an appt with his primary care bc they have no open appts. This hospital ran much better under UMASS. You could at least get appts when you needed them.
