I had Basko rebuild a Ford 289 motor. They were instructed to address any issues with the motor and repair.

After 30 minutes of time on the motor I removed it because of low oil pressure and noise in the lower end.

Upon disassembly we discovered improper main bearing clearance(low oil pressure,noise) worn out valve guides,

camshaft abd cylinders out of spec.Just sloppy work IMO by Basko. ...

I had Basko build a Ford 289 K motor for my 66 Mustang.

Overall sloppy work, valve adjustment problems then lost an oil galley plug

while driving and sustained engine damage.

Very dissatisfied. No second chances.

we are an auto repair shop and we have used a few difrent shops to our disliking. basko has been vary fair and there quality of work is second to none . and in our line of work thats very important .
