basic gets a really bad wrap but its an ok institution...people put it on blast on the stereo and stuff well their school ain't much better the teachers here are here because they wanna be not because they have to be...and the students are alright...the school may be wack but we are the best ever WOLFPACK!!!!!

I went all four years to this school. Basic get's a bad rap, but it is a good school. My younger sister now goes there and loves it. She is in on the dance team and in choir. They have great programs.

Many of the students attending Basic barely pass the proficiency exams. The reading program there is seriously lacking. The school does have a USMC ROTC program and a decent drama department. They do have many good teachers but the curriculum is lacking.
