Barolo Restaurant and Garden brings to you the flavors and the food of the beautiful wine region of Barolo in northern Italy. Barolo's Garden has the reputation of being one of the most romantic places in the city. The restaurant is located in the historic landmark district of Soho, which has become the center of the art world, and a fashionable locale for entertainment and fine dining.

This longtime Soho favorite serves popular Northern Italian dishes. Japanese cherry trees bring beauty and charm to outdoor seating available in a tranquil garden. Dark green banquettes line the saffron colored walls inside. The service is warm, the food delicious, and children are welcomed with their own menu. Barolo Restaurant Review: Sommelier Renzo Rapacioli, former president of Sommelier Society of America, oversees an exceptional wine list of 1,000 wines, with an inventory of more than 50,000 bottles. If that's not enough, Barolo's garden is one of the prettiest dining spots in the city. Inside, the setting is casual but elegant. If you order wisely, you can eat very well and authentically...

Sweetest al fresco scene this side of, well, West Broadway. Big, elegant dining room with high ceilings, white tablecloths, and oversized chandeliers. But real action's in the backyard. The restaurant was very busy on the night we visited, but we were there to catch-up with friends and were able to talk easily without any difficulty. We were at a table in the garden and it was a great atmosphere for a lovely warm spring evening. Food was excellent with the green apple ravioli with rabbit ragu a dish...

Soho has plenty of restaurants and most of them serve Italian dishes. But this one, a family business, always welcomes you with a warm atmosphere, never changing experienced servers and authentic taste. Pretty good wine list... The garden is a big plus and hidden gem.

I thought the Caesar and the Linguine Alle Vongole were excellent. The service was spotty but it was a pretty busy dinner service and I only remember seeing one server so thats going to happen. The food was fantastic.

I've had airplane food that tasted better. Not even close to being OK. Service was also awful. Will never return and cannot recommend to anyone.

A “bit-of-paradiso” garden amid SoHo’s “hustle and bustle” is this Italian’s “biggest plus”, followed closely by its “broad” wine list and “unsurpassed people-watching”; however, critics who cite just-“decent”, “overpriced” fare and “offhand service” say “stick to drinks.”

Barolo Restaurant and Garden brings to you the flavors and the food of the beautiful wine region of Barolo in northern Italy.
