B&N's rambling store with an upstairs cafe is right on Rittenhouse Square, in a lovely 19th-century building with tall windows overlooking the park; there are three floors stocked with every imaginable tome and magazine (but not music). When my boyfriend, now husband, went to drexel and whenever he couldn't get a book he needed through the school bookstore we would head to B & N. I could sit and browse while he got what he needed. And they would order stuff for you too!
