I personally think it was a great idea to put a bookstore in the middle of the busy and loud Newport on the Levy. With all the entertainment, restaurants and noise, sometimes you just want peace and quiet. The Barnes & Noble in Newport is a great store in which to wander around. It's two stories, including a large Starbucks coffee bar upstairs. There's an outdoor patio, too, when you can have your drinks/food, but you can't take unpurchased books outside.

I've never had any trouble finding what I want, and the staff has always been helpful when I needed them.

i love this location, its quiet and very "homey" i like how they have the cafe inside its very convenient i also like how me and my friends can "hangout" there with out feeling watched or feeling unwanted. most book stores wouldn't like a bunch of teenagers hanging out wither there loud or not. Every employee there is very friendly. Definitely recommend this place
